UMS Group Introduces Water and Wastewater Program in North America
Parsippany, NJ – Following successes in the Australian and European markets, UMS Group introduces the Water and Wastewater Program to North America. According to Program Director Brian Spindor, “the water and wastewater utility sector is traditionally underserved in terms of services directed at improving asset and performance management. Here in the United States and Canada, we have a short window of opportunity to proactively address issues such as regulatory compliance, sustainability, and capital planning”.
The Australian and European markets have confronted similar issues beginning in the late 1990’s. In response, UMS Group developed the same tools, diagnostics, and methodologies that are being adapted and introduced as part of the North American Water and Wastewater Program. “In the United States, drinking water and wastewater services are often provided at the city and municipal level, where economies of scale are difficult to achieve.
